Pueblo charm, marina living and year-round amenities between Fuengirola and Torremolinos
Benalmádena is really three places under one name. The Pueblo sits high on the hillside, a compact whitewashed old town of narrow lanes and miradors looking back across the bay. Arroyo de la Miel is the centre where most residents actually live, built around the commuter railway station and a working high street rather than a tourist strip. Benalmádena Costa runs along the seafront below, anchored by Puerto Marina and stretching south through Torrequebrada and Torremuelle towards Fuengirola.
For buyers the appeal is a full coastal address at eastern Costa del Sol pricing. The median asking price here sits close to €600,000, a little over half the Marbella equivalent, and the middle of the market runs from roughly €365,000 to €1M. Apartments dominate the inventory, though the hillside above Torrequebrada and La Capellanía holds a genuine villa market with sea views, and new developments continue to come forward across the municipality. The commuter train is the practical difference from most of the coast: Málaga airport and the city centre are both a direct ride away, which keeps the area liveable year round and lettable out of season.
